Brain Fitness Group Sessions

OFFERING both in-person and TELETHERAPY GROUP SESSIONS

You either use it or lose it. Like all muscles, the brain needs to be exercised and challenged every day to stay in shape. Research suggests that cognitive exercise can also slow the progression of early onset memory loss and cognitive decline and reduce the risk of developing conditions such as Alzheimers. Cognition is my specialty and facilitating groups is a labor of love. I’ve designed a series of 6 unique classes to meet the needs of people who have either been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or who simply notice small changes in memory due to aging and want to prevent any further decline.

Aphasia groups are a fun and realistic way to practice speech and language skills. Are you working on finding words in conversation? Do you want others to understand your speech better? Do you hope to understand and remember what others tell you? All of these skills can be effectively practiced in the group through structured activities, exercises, and conversation.

This 6 week brain-boosting workshop will teach you creative, fun, and effective strategies to improve attention, short term memory, and general brain fitness.
